Shadowrocket app is a popular rule based proxy utility client for iPhone/iPad. In this article you'll learn how to set up our proxies for social media in it.
Remember that using your phone won't do the trick in some use cases since there is no software to replace browser fingerprints. Using your phone will suffice in those scenarios where the probability of getting banned is relatively low. Thus we do not recommend using it when working with social networks.
Once you've purchased and downloaded Shadowrocket from App Store, you will see the following page.
Tap "Add Server" to add a new proxy:
Change proxy type from "Shadowsocks" to "Socks5":
Fill out the empty fields as shown in the example below:
Address - proxy.soax.com or direct IP from the SOAX dashboard
Port - 9000 or any other port from your package range
User - your Login from the SOAX dashboard
Password - your Password from the SOAX dashboard
Tap "Done" and switch the button to "Connected":
Allow Shadowrocket to add VPN configurations to your phone. You may now see a VPN sign in the top right corner. Open our checker to enjoy your new IP 😉
