We’ve introduced a set of advanced proxy parameters at SOAX to help you get more control over your sessions:

  • Web browser mode (-opt-wb) — improves browsing stability and reduces interruptions

  • MaxIP mode (-opt-uniqip) — expands access to a wider range of unique IPs

  • Look-a-like mode (-opt-lookalike) — ensures smoother, more natural IP changes that are harder to detect

Note:

These options are designed to improve session consistency, increase IP diversity, and help your traffic appear more like real user behavior, especially when working with logged-in platforms, data collection, or multi-tab browsing.

Web browser mode (-opt-wb)

This feature introduces advanced error-handling logic optimized for web browsing.

What it does:

  • Retries failed connections on the same node before switching

  • Keeps multiple browser tabs or parallel sessions on the same IP

  • Minimizes unnecessary node switching to avoid logouts or captchas

Best for:

  • Social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Gmail

  • Any workflow involving multiple tabs or account logins

  • Preventing session drops or instability

Example:

curl -k -x package-{your package id}-country-us-sessionid-qC0IRm4S6MBGeOqn-sessionlength-300-opt-wb:{your package login}@proxy.soax.com:5000 -L https://checker.soax.com/api/ipinfo

MaxIP mode (-opt-uniqip)

MaxIP is built to give you access to the widest possible range of unique IPs. It’s ideal for high-volume, rotation-intensive use cases like scraping or ad verification.

What it does:

  • Extends recall time for previously used nodes

  • Removes lifetime limits — even short-lived nodes can be used

  • Maximizes IP diversity and minimizes reuse

Best for:

  • Data scraping at scale

  • Ad verification across regions

  • Market research and competitor monitoring

Example:

curl -k -x package-{your package id}-country-us-sessionid-qC0IRm4S6MBGeOqn-sessionlength-300-opt-uniqip:{your package login}@proxy.soax.com:5000 -L https://checker.soax.com/api/ipinfo

Look-a-like mode (-opt-lookalike)

This feature improves how your session looks when a node switch is required. Instead of assigning any available IP, it selects one that closely resembles the previous, making your activity appear more natural to websites.

What it does:

  • Mimics real-world changes (e.g., switching from Wi-Fi to mobile)

  • Helps maintain trust on platforms with sensitive session tracking

  • Reduces detection when using proxies with logged-in accounts

Best for:

  • Logged-in sessions on LinkedIn, Instagram, or Gmail

  • Long-duration sessions that require a natural connection pattern

Example:

curl -k -x package-{your package id}-country-us-sessionid-qC0IRm4S6MBGeOqn-sessionlength-300-opt-lookalike:{your package login}@proxy.soax.com:5000 -L https://checker.soax.com/api/ipinfo

Usage tip:
Use in large countries or cities to increase the chance of similar IPs.
